AUCKLAND, Dec. 22. A new union has been formed at Huntly. It has a mehibership -of over 50. An agreement with the company was filed to-day. "We intend resuming early in January," said Mr E. W. Alison, chairmaa of directors of the company- to-day. "Ample protection will be afforded to the men resuming work by the. regxilaif police, and, if necessary, by special constables; lam pleased ,to be able to state that the farmers are prepared not only to protect the workers out, if necessary, to assist in the production of coal.' r
