BRISBANE, Dec. 21. The New Zealand cricketers opened their niatch with the Queensland eleven yesterday, before several thousand spectators. The wicket was soft. Evans, the Queensland captain, won the toss and elected to field. The visitors scored 89, to which Queensland replied with 124. In their second innings the New Zealanders have four wickets down- for 64. The individual scores were as follow:— '
