The Standard's St. Petersburg correspondent states, that Beiliss, who was acquitted of the ritual murder charge, wa6 given a passport to enable him to emigrate. All the leading personages in the prosecution have been promoted, while many of the witnesses for the defence have been degraded or dismissed from the Government service. Professor Troitzsky, medical expert, has been comnelled to vacate his chair in the St. Petersburg University.
