FRENCH BARQUE WRECKED

SYDNEY, Dec. 21. The barque Antiope, which has arrived from Eureka, reports having sighted the French barque Latour d'Auvergne, which was bound in ballast from Tahiti to New Caledonia, ashore, a total wreck, at Palmerston Island. The crew and a lady passenger landed safely, and they remain on the island.
