Show cattle sold as follows: Third prize heavy bullock, £19 ss; liighly commended heavy bullock, £19 15s; heavy bullocks, £17 10s to £17. Calves : Runners brought to £5 -3s; heavy suckers, £2 15s to £3 10s. Sheep: Extra heavy prime wethers brought £1 3s to £1 6s; heavy prime, 19s to £1 2s; medium to heavy. 17s 6d to 18s 9d; unfinished, 15s to 17s; extra heavy prime ewes, 18s 6d to £1 Is; good, 15s to 18s 6d; others, 12s to 14s. Show sheep brought £1 13s to £1 10s 3d. Lambs : Best heavy brought 19s to £.1 Is; good, 16s to 18s. Pigs : Heavy baconers, £2 15s to £3 9s; large porkers, £1 16s to £2 4s.
