DISASTROUS FIRE
DARGAVrLIrE, Dec. 17. By a disastrous fire at Te Kopuru, the Kauri Timber Company's mills were completely destroyed. The loss is estimated at £40,000, and about 100 mill hands have been thrown idle. It practically means ruination for the township.
