There lias been a sudden revival in suffragette activity after the quietude experienced since Mrs Pankhurst went to Paris. Two houses were set fire to at Bedford, where Mr Lloyd George will open his land campaign on Saturday. Postcards have been sent out declaring that the suffragettes would damage any town visited by members of the Cabinet. A strong body of suffragettes has arrived at Dundee, where Mr Churchill will speak to-night. Telegraph wires have been cut at Birmingham. Mrs Drummond, while participating in a suffragette meeting at the Pavilion, ..was re-arrested and charged with conspiracy despite her promise to desist from militancy.
