(Kuom Our Own Correspondent.) TENNIS CLUB. The annual general meeting of the Eltham. Lawn Tennis Club, incorporated, Mas held on Tuesday night, when there was a record attendance, the retiring president, Mr J. L. Campbell, ing..The report stated that in terms of the resolution passed at the last annual meeting, the club had separated from the Bowling Club and had become incorporated. A croquet lawn had been laid down and had been let to the croquet club at an annual rental of £10. —The .report recommended that the opening day be as soon as possible—Thursday 3 16th instant. The balance-sheet showed a credit of £4 9s Id.—-The report and balance-sheet Were adopted^ • . Officers for the ensuing year were, elected a.s follows: —President, Mr H. F. Haden; vice-president, Mr W. D. Ross; secretary and treasurer, Mr G. AY. Tayler (jun.); committee, Messrs D. Syme, J. L. Campbell, W. D. Ross, G. E. Jago, and T. G. Thomson; ground committee, Mr C. P. Baker; match committee, Messrs J. L. Campbell, H. J. Haden, and H. R. H. Chalmers; ladies' j committee, Mesdames H. J. Haden, D. Syme, G. W.-Bennett and Miss Koch. Twenty new propositions for membership were received. The \isual votes of thanks brought a very satisfactory meeting to a close.
