NEXT MONDAY.
THE ELLWOOD TRIO.
The talented Ellwood trio, assisted by Mr John Prouse, baritone, will give one concert in the Opera House on next Monday evening. These young people have just returned from* their studies in England and on the Continent, where three years have been spent under the. world's greatest masters; George Ellwood, a boy of 15, will surely do great things, according to his famous teacher, Jean Gerardy. They will be assisted by Mr John Prouse, the well-known baritone. Their programme will be composed of the finest music selected from thei» extensive -repertoire, including trios by Gade, violin solos "Variations" (Tartini), "Melodic" (Tschaikovsky), "Csene de la Csardas" (Hubay), " Souvenir de Moscow" (Wieniawsky), 'cello solos, "Rhapsodic" (Popper), "Mazurka" (Popper), "Traumerie" (Schumann), "Scherzo" (Van Goens). Songs by Mr John Prouse, "Queen of Connemara," "Pilgrim's Song" (Tschaikowsky). The box plan is now open at Cole and Donnelly's.
