STATE-OWNED. CABLES.
LONDON, June 4. Mr Harcourt, Secretary of State for the Colonies, in reply to Major Archer-Shee, declared that he did not propose to publish correspondence relating to the suggested subsidiary conference concerning a State-owned Atlantic cable until the Commonwealth's reply to a despatch of February 7 was received.
