SYDNEY CELEBRATIONS. ' 8Y CABLE—PBEBS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. SYDNEY, April 23. The anniversary of Shakespeare's birth was celebrated in the schools, leading actors and teachers giving short addresses explanatory of the poet's life and works, at a number of entertainments and picture show displays. The proceeds will be devoted to the proposed Shakespeare memorial.
