"AN HONEST ENDEAVOR."
Sir A. Conan Doyle, Mr Joseph Hocking, Lord Pirrie, Sir Frederick Pollock and Sir J. West Ridgeway, in a manifesto, state that they did not support Mr Gladstone's Home Rule scheme, but are convinced that some form of Home Rule is necessary to remove a standing danger to the Empire. The present Bill is an honest endeavor, and should be passed.
