WELLINGTON, Oct. 21. Flags were flown to-day fr(om the public buildings, schools, business premises, and shipping in celebration of the 107 th anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar. At several of the schools the children paraded and saluted the flag.

A nay picture entertainment was held in the afternoon at the King's Theatre, when fully 5,000 children attended. Sir Joseph Ward, New Zealand president of the Navy League, empha.sised that the celebration was to do honor to the greatest admiral the British Navy ever knew, who made it possible for all people living under the British flag to be free, wherever they might be. The Navy League did not desire war, but was founded for the purpose of preserving peace for the people of today and the future.

This evening the Mayor, Mr D. McLaren, as president of the local branch of the Navy League, gave short addresses at several theatres.
