AN M.L.C. COMMITTED FOR TRIAL
BRISBANE, July 12. Mr Gillies, recently elected to the Assembly as representative for Eacham, has been charged with falsely stating in connection with an electoral claim that he had been twelve months resident in Queensland and was entitled to have his name placed on the roßs. He has %een committed for trial.
