BY TELEGRAPH— PRESS ASSOCIATION
WELLINGTON, June 28
At the reception given by his constituents to Mr T. M. Wilford, M.P., he gave as a reason for not indicating how he intended to vote that the Government had never given a definite policy to the country, and until he heard the Governor's speech he could not be expected to pledge himself to a Government of Avhose policy he was ignorant. It would be time enough then to say whether he intended to support thena. He had his mind made up, and knew his own policy. A resolution was passed by the meeting giving Mr Wilford a free hand.
