DESERTION OF TURKISH TROOPS.

ATHENS, Anne 25. It is reported that a squadron of Turkish cavalry, comprising four hundred officers and men, deserted at Monaster and joined the insurgents. Turkish reports minimise the desertion, but admit that nine officers and fifty Albanians deserted. Some were arrested and others surrendered. They declared they were misled by the officers.
