The Australasian Lawn Tennis Association has been notified by the English Association that it is agreeable to the final round of the Davis Cup being played at Melbourne, but desires the match to take place in December instead of November, as suggested by the Australasian Association. France and America have already agreed.

The request to alter the date is likely to hamper the management in making the necessary arrangements.
