A HEAVY RISK

. " GISBORNE, June 23. Owing to the high rate required by Lloyds' agents for insuring the Gisborne Harbor Board's dredger Maui, on her trip to Auckland for overhaul, the Board has decided to send her uninsiired. She is valued at £40,000. The Board effected a partial insurance of £1500 on the crew, but the total liability in this respect is estimated at £8000. The Board's total risk, therefore, is estimated at £46,500. The Mani left for Auckland this morning at 11.15.
