DUNEDIN PRESBYTERY

DUNEDIN, June 18. At a meeting of the Dunedin Presbytery to-day the following motion was carried by 13 votes to 9:—"That this Presbytery cannot agree to the amalgamation of the Home Mission Committees and funds till an augmentation of stipends funds, separate from the mission fund, is created in the northern section of the church, as agreed upon by the Assembly in 1910." A further motion was carried to the effect that the Presbytery recognises the great work before the northern section, and cordially approves of the southern section contributing all the help in its power.
