The Mangatoki Dairy Company let the contract for the erection of its cheese factories —Mangaibki, Matapu, and Malioe-^-yesterday afternoon. Mr F. H. Grayling, of New Plymouth, was the successful tenderer.
A movement is on foot to form a Chamber of Commerce here, and a meeting for the purpose is convened for tonight.
