BUTTER AND CHEESE ENTRIES

A SUBSTANTIAL INCREASE

The butter and cheese exhibits at tho AVmter Show are of especial interest in a district like Taranaki, where the industry has reached such large proportions. It must be highly encouraging to the directors of the Winter Show Company to know that their efforts m stimulating competition is meeting with such marked success. The entries in the. cheese section are more than double those of last year, while ther* !■< also an increase in the butter class. The figures for the two years are as follow: 1911 1912 Butter 51 60 Cheese 48 99 The secretary, Mr A. M. Obnroy, states that enquiries for space are wonting to hand freely, so that indications point to the 1912 Show being even more successful than its predecessors.
