ARBITRATION COURT.
AUCKLAND, Mayas. Im the Arbitration Court Mr fwstice Sim gave -the decision in the aispute between "Nearing and Co. and 'the Waterside "Workers'' "Rnion. An application for an award made by the employers was dismissed. .The Union had given notice df cancellation of its registration under the Arlsutration Act, and notioe of the Registrar's intentio» to cancel the registration was gazetted on February 8, the six weeks referred to in th« notice termmating on March 21.. In the meantime the Union had applied for cancellation. His" Honor held that the Union should toe treated as if it had ceased to exist for the purpose of .making awards. One objection to granting th« present application was that the employers objecting represented 90 per cent. «f the labor affected by *<he dispute.
