AUCKLAND, .May 15. .A conference of representatives of local bodies appointed Mr C. J. Parr ((Mayor of Auckland) and Messrs Coyle, Schofield, Garland, Trench, Hutherford, ■and Allen, delegates to represent the Auckland Hospital distridts att the coniference to be held in Wellington. The (Conference passed ;a resolution opposing the -local Government Board and provinrtiial councils, but approved of (Government assistance in ;the shape of Special siabsidies for arterial roads.
