NORTHUMBERLAND BOARD'S AWARD.
(Received May 13, 10 a.m.) . LONDON, May 12. Lord Morsey's award in connection with the Northumberland Conciliation Board has fixed the minimum rates for underground workers as follows: Day workers, 4s 9,d; pier workers, 5s 8d; boys, 2s to 3s 6d, according to age; putters, 4s; deputies, hewers and euginemen, 5s 6d. The hewers' claim was for 6s 3d to 7s 9d.
