CANADA AND THE UNITED STATES
Received Nov. 92, 11 a.m. NEW YORK, Nov. 28. Mr Champ Clark deities that he ever really favored annexation of Canada. He would be the first to vote against such a project if offered by the United States. It was a most preposterous canard ever put in type since Gutenberg invented printing. He frequently expressed the hope that the two countries would unite by mutual agreement. He never for one moment thought of forcible annexation.
