AN UNPOPULAR PLAY
BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. Received Nov. 29, 11.30 a.m. NEW YORK, Nov. 28. Yeats' play, "The Playboy of the Western World," was produced! at Maxime Elliott's theatre, and caused an uproar. The police made ten arrests. Refuse was thrown at the actors. The play caused a similar uproar in Dublin in 1907.
