ALLEGED WHARF PILLAGE.

AUCKLAND, Aug. 2. Another development in what is known generally as the wharf pillaging cases, took place yesterday when Ar^ thur Glover was arrested. Before Mr C. C. Kettle, S.M., he was cTTafged (1) that on April 25, 1911, he forged a telegram purporting to be signed\y A. Tanfield, authorising the Union Company at Greymouth to deliver certain goods, to wit, five cases of drapery;. and (2) that on or about March 30, 1911, at Auckland, he stole from the*, wharf, goods to the value of £107 135.., the property of Messrs Milne anc& Choyce. On the application of Chief* Detective Marsack a remand was granted till Friday, when other persons, alleged to be concerned in the wharf robberies will comr- up. Bail in one surety of £200 was granted, and was immediately i'ort'ncon-ir.g, the bondsman being Mr A. 17 Glover, M.P.
