Thousands of people from all parts of the globe travelled to London to witness the coronation of Ls gracious Majesty King George and Queen Mary, countless sums of money were spent in order to obtain seats to view the procession. Londoners left their homes at 3 o'clock in the morning in order to obtain positions along the route, and returned to their homes after a trying day. Hundreds of the King's subjects who ' were unable to yisit England to attend the coronation will have an opportunity of witnessing the great pageant on Thursday and Friday night at the Opera House, when Messrs Hay ward's Enterprise, Ltd., will show a magnificent selection of pictures. These pictures, which arrived in Auckland by the s.s. Maheno on Sunday, having travelled from England post haste. The coronation pictures^ are sure to be the talk of the week, and the Opera House will doubtless be filled each evening. The management have most kindly decided to give two free matinees for the school children of the town and country. Patrons will be wise in booking seats early to avoid disappointment/. The prices will remain as usual.
