HON. T. MACKENZIE'S VIEWS
BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION. DUNEDIN, Aug. 2. In the course of his remarks at the opening of the Winter Show, the Hon. T. Mackenzie reiterated his previous contradiction of the chairman of the Bank of New Zealand that lower prices might be expected. He said his reply had never been challenged, and he was pleased to say that the most recent advices received from the Homeland showed a continuance of prosperity.
