The annual general meeting of the New Zealand Axemen's Association was held on Monday night, Mr G. W. Tayler occupied the chair. The balance sheet showed a credit of £76 on the past year's working, which, together with money already in hand gives a total credit of £353 to the Association. Officers were elected as follow: Patron, Ms Excellency the Governor; presioJent, Mr G. W .Tayler ;vioe-presi-dents, Dr Harrison and Hoff /W. -Carncross; committee, Messrs T. C. Stanners, W. Stanners, L. Hill, A. J. Hanson, H. Wolfe and F. E. Hardy; secretary, Mr F. E. Hardy.
