30-MILE ROAD RACE.

In connection with the big Round the Mountain Road Race on August 17 a preliminary circular race of about 65 iniies, Waitara to Inglewood to New Plymouth and back to Waitara, has been promoted" by Mr D. George, to be held on Thursday, August 10. Nearly all the entrants for the big race have nominated for the Waitara race, for which Mr A. Hansen has declared the following handicaps: — A. G.
