BISHOP AND NONCONFORMISTS
Replying to the vicar of St. Austell, Cornwall, who asked permission to take part in a Free Church service on Coronation Day, the Bishop of Truro stated that he rejoiced to find so much brotherly feeling and desire for Christian unity among Free Church ministers.
If the vicar accepted the invitation he would be entirely within his legal rights as parish priest.
