WHAT THE PEOPLE WANT!

The following "little list" isl put forward by "The Voice of Labor," which is published in Auckland as the organ of the Labor Party:— The people want— Cheaper meat and more meat. Cheaper butter and more butter. Cheaper houses and more and better houses. The people want — Steady employement. Good wages. Sanitary conditions. More security for the morrow. The people want— More old age pensions. Lowering; of the age for old age pensions for both men and women. The people want— Pensions for widows. Free, compulsory, technical and university education for every child born in the Dominion . These are only a few of the things that the people want, but they want these things right now, and the political party that is going to win out of the hurly-burly of New Zealand politics is the party that can give the" people the most of these things in the shortest possible time.
