NO-LICENSE LEAGUE.

A meeting of the Hawera No-License League was held on Friday. The following officials for the current year were elected .—President, Mr H Halhwell; Vice-Presidents, Hevs. J. Xt §"»*, F• W. Boys, J. R. Cassell, and Messrs W. Baker and E. Dixon; Treasurer, Mr W. Baker; assistant, Mrs bargeson; Secretary, Mr L. A. Bone Executive—Mrs Duxfield, Mrs Bone, Misses Murch and Maunder, Messrs bargeson, Pacey, Strack, Cummings L, Chadwick, W. G. Bishop. Ordinary business was transacted, and. it was resolved to arrange if possible a, convention of Patea electorate delegates to be held at Patea in about a fortnight's time.
