LONDON MARKETS.
Dalgety and Co., Limited, report having received the following cable messages from their London house under date of the 7th inst. : —
Frozen Meat. — The demand for all descriptions of frozen meat is less, having been affected by unfavorable weather. Prices for frozen mutton, of which stocks are small, are from §d to id lower, but recovery is impossible. Prices for lamb, which looks as if it has touched top, are this week |d lower. For beef, any change in prices is in favor of buyers. There are heavier supplies of chilled coming forward. Buyers generally are holding back, expectinjr to do better later on.
Tallow. — Since our last wire present prices, which are about at the parity of recent c.i.f. sales, aie Is 6d higher.
