FIRE AT WHITELEY'S.
(Received March 15, 9 a.m.) LONDON, March 14. An outbreak of fira occurred at Whitcley's establishment. Tho customers and 4000 assistants were removed without confusion. A dozen firemen were overcome by tho smoke and taken to tho hospital. One department was destroyed. (Received March 15, noon.) LONDON, March 14. Tho fire at "White-toy's was confined to one department by closing iron doors, which prevented a serious calamity. The damage is small.
