Tho monthly meeting of the Hawera J^Ktrict High School Committee was held Nm Monday ov'.ght, Mr Bone presiding. Other members preaont wero Messrs Bates, Hurrell, Yeafbury, and Rev. GiBBQn. Tho Ambulance* Association applied lor permission to place a box containing first aid requisites in the school, also a stretcher. The request o p the Association 'was acceded to. It was dbcwJed to obtain quotations from builders for the erection of a fence around- the flag pole. The matter of providing water troughs for Worses at tho school was left to the incoming committee.
