THE LISBON RIOTS.
SEVEN HUNDRED ARRESTS. SEARCHING ENQUIRY ORDERED [press association.] LISBON, April 10. Cabinet has ordered a starching enquiry into the riots. The allegation is made that the municipal guard fired a. volley in the unarmed crowds, "he guard wounded live soldiers belonging to a detachment marching past San Domingo Square., which was the seme of the chief riot. It is stated that the guard there fired 170 shots, aiming generally at the ground. Sever, hundi'od arrests have been nia.de, including many- of the proleitariat, who were l found to he in possession of large sums of money.
