Society's delegates at' a meeting held at Stratford for the purpose of considering the formation of a Taranaki Horticultural Association, reported thnit every society to Taranaki excepting Noxmanby were represented at that meeting. It was practically decided' to form the Association Mr S. WaTd, of Stratford, had boen appoitnted secretary pro tern. The annual fee would be about £1 Is. Each eociety was "expected to eend. suggestions regard'lng matters affecting societies, such for instance as the appointment of judges, rules, revising catalogues,, etc. Air and Mrs Walker were thanked far their report, and the following resolution was adopted: That the Kapongo. Horticultural Society jom the proposed Taranaki Horticultural "Association, The following committee waß elected to prepare a suggestion list: Mesdames Frethey-and Walker, Messrs Frethey, Wnlker, and Rev.
