[By Telegraph. — Special to Stab.] ' WELLINGTON, April 6." Mr Major, M.P., interviewed the Government to-day regarding a vote for a post office at Manaia. The matter is to dealt with in this year's estimates. He also made representations with reference to the extension of the telephone service to Ararata. An estimate of the cost is to be obtained.
