The decline in values which was noticeable in the opening wool sales of th-3 Wellington series again prevailed to-day, when the second sale was held. Th«i wool offered was not of very good quality, though there were a few lots that were exceptions to the lule. For these finer wools there was an active demand, but in respect of tho others tho November drop was accentuated by a halfponny to three-farthings, and eve p. a penny per lb.
