CHRISTCHUECH, March 22. The competitions under the auspioee of the Now Zealand Fire Brigades' Association were brought to a highly successful conclusion this evening. Following are the result&i of the day's proceedings: Three Men Hydrant and Union Event. Tsmaru, 33 2-ssec 1 Caversham, 34 3-ssec 2 Napier, 35 1-5 3 Eastown TRadlway, 35 l-sseo ... 4 Alarm and Disabled Hose. For five men. First, £4C; second, £20; third £15: fourth, £10; fifth, £5. Dunedin City, 57 l-ssec 1 Christcburch, 62 l-ssec 2 Dunedin (^ity, 63 2-6 sec 3 Tfimatfii, 64 2-ssec 3 GTeymouth, 65 2-sseo 5 Hose, Hydrant and Union. For five men. First, £35; second, £20; third, £15; fourth, £10; fifth, £5. Lyttelton, 32 l-ssec 1 Dannevirke, 32 2-sseo 2 New Plymouth, 33 l-saec .'. ... 3 Hillside Eai'way, 33 4-ssec 4 Dunedin City,'34sec 5 Hiaiw&ra's time was 38 l-ssec (3sec penalty). • Consolation Event. — Hose y Hydrant and Union, for five men. First prize, £25 j second, £15; third,. £8; fourth, £7: fifth, £5. Ga/versham, 30sec 1 Eastown Railway, 32aec 2 Auckland, 32 4-sseo 3 Hbkitika and Masterton tied at 32 4-ssec and divided fifth money: In the rescue event decided yesterday Stratford and Wadhi' tied at 26 2-ssec for fourth, place. In 'the run off' this moaning 'Stratford won in 26 l-ssec, -Waihi patting up 27sec.
