A SUGGESTIVE TRAGEDY.
The Messaggero' (Rome) recently received the following strange story from Bari, an Adriatic seaport on the line to BrindisL The otiher day two children, evidently brother and .sister, both richly dressed in fine cloth, embroidered' with lace, were placed, tightly bound, on the railway line near Bari, several hours before the Brimdisi express was due. The driver of title train, however, noticed that there was an obstruction, and was able to* pudl up in time. Unhappily it was found that the two children were already frozen to death. It is certain thaft they beJonged to rich, possibly, noble, parents, as one of their gairmente bears a count's coronet. — Central News.
