ELTHAM WIN TARANAKI PREMIERSHIP.
The New Plymouth and Eltham soccer teams, winners respectively of tho northern and eouthern divisions, met at Inglewood on Thursday to play off for the premiership A hard-fotght game resulted in a win for the Eltham team by 3 goals to 1. The contest was only a fair exhibition, the ground being all against fast work. On the day's play the better team undoribtedlv won. Glaister, Chadwiek and Crabtree were the pick of the winning eleven, while Bullock was the only prominent player among the losers-
