JUNIOR REP TEAM.

The junior trial match, North" v. South Taranald, to assist the selectors in their task of choosing the junior representative team to play Wanganui, took place at Stratford yesterday. After the game, which was of a hard but interesting description, the following team was picked : Full-back— Collins (Stratford), three-quar-ters—Campbell (Wadmate), Stobx (Tukapa), Hooker iTukapa),- five-eighths— Whitaker (Star); half— -Spratt (Hawera); wings— Kerr (Inglowood), Rothery (Opunake) ; forwards—Pukere (Clifton), Young (Waiirate), Boon (Stratford), Beard (Kaponga), Ambury (Star), v'illars (Hawerai, Davidson (Patea). Emergency— Symes (Hawera).
