SEDDON MEMORIAL.
CARTERTON, July 10. At a public meeting last night it was decided to support the New Zealand national Seddoni memorial, to be erected in Wellington, the capital city. It was resolved: (1) That the Mayor of Wellington, be requested to invite each electorate in the colony to send one delegate to the confectenc© in Wellington at an early date to consider the nature of the memorial ; (2) that the Government be urged to set aside- Mt. Cook site for a memorial technical college, sucn college to be free to students from all parts of the colony who possess qualifications.
Mr Hornsby, M.H.R., was appointed as a delegate to the public meeting to be held in Wellington on Wednesday night.
