IN SEARCH OF A DERELICT.
WELLINGTON, July 11.
The Hinemoa on her voyage from Westport searched for the derelict reported to be drifting about Cook Straits, but saw no trace. In the vicinity of Kapdti Island she found a portion of a ship's Boat, built of kauri, and also found portion of a cable table on Mayhew Island. Th© wreckage apparently had not* been long in the water, but there was nothing to identify it by.
