OUTBREAK IN DUNEDIN.

DUNEDIN, July 10. A fire broke out this evening in the warehouse, office and finishing department of the Zealajidia Hosiery Factory, in Walker street. Although a strong wind was blowing the fire brigade soon had the flames under control, and prevented the fire fjom spreading to the adjoining buildings on each side. A good deal of damage was done to the stock, which was fairly heavy, and was practically destroyed by fire or water, whilst th© finishing machinery was completely destroyed. Th© stock was insured in the Sun Office for £400. Th© building was once- a seven-roomed house, and was insured for £200, also in the Sun Office. The proprietor of th© factory is W. J. Dreaver.
