APPOINTMENT OF COMMITTEES.

The following committees were appointed at the last meeting of the Borough Council: —

Works— Crs Goodson, Brunette, Sargeson, Pacey, and Whittington. Finance — Ore Pacey, Wilson, Paterson, and Morrissey.

Reserves — Crs Sargeson, Pacey, and Goodson.

Baths— Crs Brunette, Morrissey, Wilson, and Jay.

Cemetery— -Crs Wilson.. Goodson, and Wliittinigton,

Drill Hall — Crs Morrissey, Sargeson. and Jay.

Fire Brigade' — Cts Sargesonj Pacey, and Paterson.

Institute — Crs Paterson, Brunette, and Jay.

Plans — Crs Whittington, Wilson, and Paterson. Band— Crs Wilson, Brunette, and Jay. Lighting — Crs Goodson*, Pacey, , and Patejson.

Abattoir— Crs Whittington, Sargeson, and Morrissey.

The Mayor is Chairman of all Committees ex officio.

Cr Whittington and the officer in charge of the Brigade wemei appointed Fire Inspectors.

Constable Potter, of Hawexa, is to be transferred to Port "Albert, Auckland district.
