The body of Joseph Bourgeois, who was drowned ou the Waikak.a dredge on Saturday, was recovered on Sundjay. At the inquest, the evidence showed that deceased and bis mate were hauling themselves ashore in a punt, by tfee teowline of the dredge. The bow of the punt dipped under and shipped some water. The men lost their heads and jumped overboard. A verdict of accidentally gowned, no blame attachable to anyone, "was returned.
